Keynote | KubeCon North America 2026 | Thursday, Nov 12
The JuiceFS and StepFun teams will deliver a keynote session at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon 2026 North America on Thursday, November 12. The session will walk through how StepFun built a unified, cloud-neutral storage layer for multimodal AI using Kubernetes, TiKV, and JuiceFS and scaled it to over 10,000 mounting hosts across heterogeneous GPU clusters and multiple clouds. In this session, we'll talk about how the platform transitioned from an inference-centric storage to a unified file access layer for the multimodal model lifecycle. We'll share practical lessons learned in TiKV metadata optimization, cache and readahead tuning for Safetensors workloads, and upstream contributions to the JuiceFS community.
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America brings together the maintainers, platform teams, AI infrastructure engineers, and end users solving the hardest production problems across Kubernetes, cloud native, and AI. Learn how teams are scheduling GPUs, serving models, operating agent workloads, securing systems, controlling cost, and building reliable platforms at scale.
