JuiceFS 2022 Community Survey Results

To make the development of JuiceFS better meet users’ needs, we designed a survey to understand their experience and evaluation before and during the use of JuiceFS. The survey was targeted at users who have already used JuiceFS in production environments.

A total of 55 questionnaires were collected over a two-week period via WeChat, community groups, Slack, and other channels. Users are from China, USA, Brazil and Italy.

The highest percentage of users in the survey was from large enterprises, with 43% from enterprises with 1,000 or more employees, 24% from enterprises with 50-200 employees, 22% from enterprises with 200-1,000 employees, and 11% from enterprises with 0-50 employees.

  • POSIX and Kubernetes CSI Driver are the most common access methods used by users.
  • 24% of users use more than 100 clients.
  • The top three features that users would most like to see improved in JuiceFS in the next 1 year are: performance, stability and security
  • 62% of the survey users chose to be very willing ( 5) to introduce JuiceFS to other colleagues.
